*Ranked Top 3% Podcast Globally* Are you tired of feeling like your life is on hold until you finally heal from chronic illness? Do you feel like you've tried everything and you're still not getting better? Are you exhausted from chasing answers, jumping from protocol to protocol, and overwhelmed by conflicting health advice? Are you frustrated by symptoms that won't go away and worried this might just be your new normal? Have you ever wondered if there's a way to pursue natural healing without fear, confusion, or putting your entire life on hold until you finally feel better?
If so, you're in the right place.
Welcome to Faith-Filled Healing—the weekly Christian holistic health podcast where faith and functional medicine come together to help women uncover the root causes of chronic illness while keeping Christ at the center.
Each week, you'll learn why your body is struggling and how to support its God-designed healing processes through a faith-filled, root-cause approach so you can move forward in your healthing journey with greater clarity, confidence, and peace. We'll explore topics like root cause healing, detox, gut health, chemical sensitivity, functional medicine, autoimmune conditions, hormones, nervous system healing, inflammation, environmental toxins, toxic load, mold illness, parasites, pathogens, and practical ways to care for your body the way God designed it.
But we'll also talk about the deeper issues many health podcasts never address: fear, striving, suffering, surrender, contentment, identity in Christ, and how to trust God when healing isn't happening on your timeline.
I'm Sarah Phillipe—a former Registered Nurse, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, wife, and most importantly, a follower of Jesus.
For years, I struggled with chronic illness, chronic fatigue, anxiety, inflammation, hormonal imbalance, breast implant illness, endometriosis, infertility, and a long list of unanswered questions. Like so many women, I spent years searching for answers, trying protocols, and wondering why I still didn't feel like myself.
What I eventually discovered is that healing is about more than finding the right supplement or the next missing piece. And it isn't about striving for perfect health—it's about faithfully stewarding the body God entrusted to you while trusting Him with the outcome.
Today, I help Christian women uncover what's really driving their symptoms and invite them into a different way of pursuing health—one rooted in biblical wisdom, practical stewardship, and a whole-person approach that honors body, mind, and spirit.
If you're ready to move beyond symptom management, understand why your body is struggling in the first place, and embark on a health journey to wellness that keeps Christ at the center, this podcast is for you.
So grab your coffee, open your Bible, head out for a walk, or settle into your favorite chair. Let's pursue natural healing with wisdom, steward our bodies faithfully, and trust God with the outcome—together.

Could your breast implants be contributing to chronic symptoms—and what does healing after explant actually require? In this deeply personal episode of Faith-Filled Healing, Sarah Phillipe shares her breast implant illness story, beginning with the childhood messages about beauty and femininity that shaped her decision to get implants. She walks through the slow unraveling of her health, her search for root-cause answers, the infertility journey that ultimately influenced her decision to explant, and the years of deeper healing that followed.
Sarah shares the symptoms she experienced after breast augmentation, including hair loss, fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, heart palpitations, digestive issues, food sensitivities, cystic acne, painful periods, insomnia, chemical sensitivity, Hashimoto’s, SIBO, and hormone dysfunction.
You’ll also hear why Sarah believes her implants were a tipping point rather than the only cause of her chronic illness—and why explant surgery did not provide the immediate recovery she expected. Healing required a multifaceted approach involving drainage pathways, nervous system regulation, gut health, minerals, detoxification, immune support, and foundational lifestyle changes.
Most importantly, Sarah shares how God used breast implant illness and infertility to dismantle false identity, deepen her dependence on Christ, and turn her pain into purpose.
Whether you have implants, are considering explant, or are still struggling after breast implant removal, this episode offers validation, wisdom, and hope for the healing journey ahead.

Environmental toxins are everywhere—but does protecting your health require replacing everything in your home, buying only organic food, and living in fear of every chemical exposure? In this episode of Faith-Filled Healing, Sarah Phillipe shares how to reduce your toxic load without allowing low-tox living to become an obsession or making health an idol. You’ll learn which environmental toxins and daily exposures deserve your attention, which ones may not be worth your limited energy, and how to make meaningful changes without becoming overwhelmed by perfectionism.
Sarah walks through several high-impact areas to consider, including drinking water, cookware, personal-care products, cleaning supplies, indoor air quality, and food. She also explains why drainage pathways and foundational support matter before aggressive detoxification—and why trying to eliminate every possible exposure is neither realistic nor necessary.
Most importantly, this episode explores the difference between faithful stewardship and anxious control. You’ll learn how to make wise, practical changes while trusting God with what you cannot control, keeping health in its proper place, and refusing to let fear consume your healing journey.
You were not created to fear your home or obsess over perfect health. You can reduce environmental toxins, support your body’s God-designed detoxification systems, and still live with freedom, gratitude, and peace.

Have you worked on your gut health, drainage pathways, minerals, detox, and nervous system—but you’re still exhausted? Perhaps your labs look better, yet your energy, mental clarity, and ability to recover haven’t returned. Mitochondrial dysfunction and the cell danger response may help explain why.
In this episode of Faith-Filled Healing, Sarah Phillipe explores the role mitochondria play in chronic fatigue, brain fog, exercise intolerance, and chronic illness. You’ll learn why mitochondria are often the canary in the coal mine rather than the true root cause, how chronic stressors can shift cells from energy production into protection, and why supporting the body in the proper order matters.
Sarah unpacks how toxic load, mold exposure, chronic infections, inflammation, blood sugar instability, mineral depletion, and nervous system dysregulation can interfere with cellular energy. She also explains why jumping into mitochondrial supplements and biohacks before addressing upstream stressors may not produce the energy recovery you’re hoping for.
Most importantly, you’ll discover why persistent fatigue doesn’t mean your body is broken or failing you. Your mitochondria may be responding protectively to the environment they have endured—and rebuilding energy can be a slow, layered healing journey rooted in patience, safety, and faithful stewardship.

If you live with chronic migraines, you've probably been told to avoid your triggers, manage the pain, and reach for medication when another migraine hits. But what if the headache itself isn't the whole story? In this episode of Faith-Filled Healing, Sarah Phillipe sits down with naturopathic doctor Tanya Paynter to explore chronic migraines through a faith-rooted, functional medicine lens. Together, they look beyond symptom management to the root causes that may be influencing migraines—including chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation, hormones, fatigue, and the powerful relationship between what we believe and how the body responds.
You'll hear a fascinating conversation about the biology of belief, why the nervous system matters in chronic illness, and how spiritual struggles and disconnection from God can affect the healing journey. Sarah and Dr. Paynter also explore what it means to steward the body as a temple without turning health into an idol or carrying the exhausting pressure to heal yourself.
If you're living with chronic migraines, unexplained fatigue, hormone symptoms, or a body that seems stuck in survival mode, this conversation will help you look beyond the pain and consider the bigger root-cause picture.
Most importantly, you'll be reminded that pursuing healing doesn't have to mean striving for control. We can steward our bodies wisely while keeping our trust, identity, and hope firmly rooted in Christ.

In this episode of Faith-Filled Healing, Sarah Phillipe shares her holistic health perspective on why hormone imbalance is often a downstream symptom of deeper issues like blood sugar instability, nervous system dysregulation, gut dysfunction, poor detoxification, and mineral deficiencies. You'll learn why so many women stay stuck chasing hormone symptoms and what it looks like to take a true root-cause approach instead.
In this episode, you'll learn:
Why hormones act more like messengers than the root cause
The connection between blood sugar and hormone balance
How stress and nervous system dysregulation affect thyroid, cortisol, and sex hormones
Why drainage and liver health are essential for healthy estrogen metabolism
The critical role minerals play in hormone production and thyroid function
Why quick hormone resets often fail

In this episode of Faith-Filled Healing, Sarah Phillipe shares a holistic health perspective on why iron deficiency isn't always the root cause. You'll learn how hidden issues like parasites, gut dysfunction, chronic inflammation, and poor nutrient absorption can quietly deplete your iron stores and why simply replacing iron often isn't enough.
In this episode, you'll learn:
Why recurring low ferritin is often a clue—not the diagnosis
The connection between parasites and chronic iron deficiency
How gut health affects iron absorption
Why heavy periods aren't always the whole story
Which lab markers provide a fuller picture beyond ferritin alone
Why drainage and gut healing should come before aggressive parasite protocols
A root-cause approach to restoring energy and rebuilding iron stores
If you're struggling with fatigue, hair loss, brain fog, heavy periods, anemia, or persistent iron deficiency, this episode will help you understand what your body may really be asking for.

You'll learn:
The three major categories of stealth root causes: mold, parasites, and chronic infections
Common symptoms of hidden infections that standard lab work often misses
Why so many women crash during parasite cleanses and mold detox protocols
The importance of drainage pathways before antimicrobial treatment
Why nervous system regulation is essential before addressing chronic infections
The order of operations for safe, root-cause healing

Can prayer regulate your nervous system—and if you still feel anxious after praying, does that mean your faith is weak? In this episode of Faith-Filled Healing, Sarah Phillipe sits down with nervous system and emotional dysregulation expert Dr. Roseann Capanna-Hodge to explore the relationship between prayer, anxiety, chronic stress, and nervous system regulation.
You’ll learn what happens when the body becomes stuck in fight-or-flight, how dysregulation affects attention, emotions, relationships, and our felt experience of faith, and why spiritual peace and physiological calm are not always the same thing. You can genuinely trust God and experience the peace of the Holy Spirit while your nervous system is still learning how to recover from stress.
Dr. Roseann explains how prayer and practical regulation tools can work together, why a dysregulated brain may struggle to concentrate or take in reassurance, and how repeated Christ-centered practices such as prayer, Scripture, worship, rest, breathwork, and journaling can help teach the body to recognize safety over time.
You’ll also hear a simple regulation practice you can use when you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in survival mode.
This conversation will help you stop interpreting nervous system dysregulation as a spiritual failure and begin caring for your body as an act of faithful stewardship.
